indeed they do as well. 

They followed the "take just the RIGHT amount of poison for it to be awesome and not kill you" path. 


Nova Cats always seems a bit more of generalized mysticism. Whatever that might boil down to in actual practices or pharma, your guess is as good as mine

I meant that in the novels at least, the Nova Cats seemed to make more use of things like fasting, saunas, and physical exertion to trigger their visions, not hallucinogens.

And I maintain that if they had a real hotline to the future they'd have done something better than set themselves up to be a vassal state in the Combine.
