Yes they were. I mean your design is clever because it doesnβt bring attention to them being ones and zeroes. Theyβre just little characters. I kind of had to look a little bit to figure it out.

They were far more blocky and angular to deal with the groundbreaking but exhausting animation of the time, whereas these are smooth and look like they'd be animated with more organic movement. I'd love to see these characters all pulled off by a skilled team with some powerful machines.
