Description

I was trying to make another MMD video when the models started to bunch up together, eventually all winding up in the middle as a jumbled mess. I tried moving the models with all the bone frames selected but it didn't help. This isn't all of the models I was going to use btw.

Anyone know how to fix this? It was Fukkireta, don't remember where I got it.

None of this stuff is mine BTW. Too much credit to give any sorry!

Ah, that's easy for a fix. You need to register the model to the spot you want them to dance/move in. Most VMD files will pre-set the model, but others won't (namely the ones that are planned for one dancer, like Cyber Cider Thunder).

So, to fix this, once you go the VMD and spot you want the model to go, select all the bones and hit "register". Use the register on the Bone Manipulation screen, not the Model Manipulation.

I. Did. That. I would not be asking for help if I did not try everything I could easily find in a google search.

Alright, well I took the liberty of tracking down and downloading the motion, along with running it through MMD. And I found the solution.

On the frame manipulation screen, the mother bone is registered to appear at the center point of the stage at the end of the dance. This causes the model to be dragged to the center of the screen. To keep the models in place, go to frame 2738. You'll see that the mother bone is registered for the center of the stage. Delete the registration for the mother bones and only the mother bone. With it deleted (and no, the model nor the motion will be effected by this), your model will stay in place.

Sorry for the late reply, just barely got back to working on this. I have at least one model that lacks a mother bone and at least one that does not seem to have any bones registered to that frame that shouldn't be even though it does have one..

There does seem to be an issue with how the bones are named on 11th Doctor and Applejack(this applies to all four of the anthro pony models in the download) but not N.

The ones I am current having trouble with: www.mediafire.com/download/4zq… ("Jack" Version 1(there are no other versions to my knowledge)), ringtail14.deviantart.com/art/… , and desu-prince-karen.deviantart.c… I might replace N with Ash though, but I don't know if he will have a similar problem...
