In the pikmin games the pikmin take either buttons or dead enemy bodies back to the ship to make more pikmin. So... Flash here is going to be kill to make pikmin basically

Honestly, I was never really all that interested in Pikmin. Games with super-strict time limits aren't really my thing.

The pikmin games time limit isn't as bad then other games and the second games doesn't even have a time limit.

Well, I think Pikmin 2 does have the "15 minutes per day" thing (except when you're in one of the caves), just not the "30 days or you die" thing. Honestly not sure about Pikmin 3.
Eh, maybe it's just because real-time strategy games (that's pretty much what the Pikmin games are, more or less) aren't really my thing to begin with.

I see but pikmin 2 doesn't have a time limit to beating the game. You could take 365 in game days to beat the game if you wanted and it still be ok.
Pikmin 3 has a juice system. You collect fruit in the levels to make juice. Each day you have one jar of juice for a meal and you don't lose unless you run out of juice. Also the game allow you to replay days incase in made a mistake or want to scout out an area. You could scout and area one day, find all the fruit location, end the day, and replay that day to collect all the fruit. Its a nice system that helps incase your bad at time management.
I say give 2 a try if you have a gamecube or Wii since that the easiest of the three but if you don't want to try then that understandable.

The exact goal for the game is different in each one, but they generally revolve around the same general thing (which is collecting stuff).
For example, in the first game, you have to collect all 25 vital ship pieces (and 5 not so vital, though they are unnecessary in beating the game) before your air supply runs out in 30 days. To do this, you rely on plantlike creatures you pull from the ground (the Pikmin, if you haven't guessed) who carry things to either your ship (ship pieces) or to their homes, dubbed as onions by Olimar (Pellets, corpses of enemies) to make more of them. The Pikmin aren't particularly hardy or bright and die pretty easily, so careful management of the things is needed, especially during combat.
Finally, each Pikmin color is different and has different abilities (Red's resist fire and do slightly more damage, Yellows can carry and set off the dangerous bombrocks (this was changed in later games into resisting electricity) and are very light, allowing them to be thrown very high, and blue's can walk in water without drowning). Some pieces can't be reached without using specific colors, so having a good number of all of them is important.
Later games would add new pikmin, The ability to switch to another character elsewhere, and sprays.

There are actually three Pikmin Games, each with a slightly different mission. Basically though, they all revolve around the idea of growing your Pikmin, having them fight enemies, and collecting different things (such as ship parts, treasure, or food).

No. The pikmin follow your orders in the games and don't attack you beside a few special cases if I remember correctly.

In the first game, there is one big walking mushroom enemy which can release spores that will take over your pikmin and cause them to attack you.
Anyways, in Pikmin 1, your character (Captain Olimar) crash lands on a strange, dangerous planet. His ship has taken damage, and he needs the help of the pikmin to survive, explore, and gather his ship parts so he can repair his ship and return home.
