Chapter 1- Welcome To Kadic Matt!

"Transfer Matt"
"Scanner Matt"
"Virtualization!"

Matt fell onto the ground of Lyoko,looking around to see which sector he was in. "Matt. Matt, can you hear me?!" He heard Jeremie's voice. Matt stood up,"Yeah I hear ya loud and clear Jeremie." He felt his sides and had a handgun in a pocket. He was really surprised to see the weapon he had received during his transfer onto Lyoko,"Now this is awesome. Alright Xana,bring it on!" Matt held the weapon up,ready to fight.

"I see we have a new student here. He can introduce himself" Mrs. Hertz looked over at a boy who was sitting in the back of the room. He had a sharp,piercing,dark glare in his eyes. His hair was jet black,his wardrobe was also something that caught everyones attention. He wore a blue shirt with a picture of a skull and he wore shorts up to his knees. The boy stood up in a huff.

"I'm Matthew Dunbar...." He muttered,not quite pleased with the fact he had to introduce himself. "You guys might know my brother William...so yeah. Glad I'm here at Kadic." Matt sat down and looked around as the class took their seats. His expression soon changed as he saw something that caught his interest. There was a girl who had red hair and two pigtails at the bottom. She had two star earrings,blue shirt with dark pink shorts. She also wore a red scarf around her neck.

"And now back to the lesson. So today we will be discussing the earths atmosphere." Mrs. Hertz continued the lesson she had planned for the day. "Now get into groups of 3 and wait for further instructions."

"Tamiya!" Matt flinched when he saw the red headed girl hug another girl. She was slightly taller than the red head but just as immature. Her name was Tamiya. He was curious to get to know them more. He got up and walked over to them, "Um...excuse me?" He spoke softly.

The two girls looked over at Matt and smiled, "Hi!" They said in unison.

Matt blinked at was surprised at their kind greeting. He decided to respond just a nice, "I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce myself fully. I'm Matthew Dunbar. You are...?"

"I'm Tamiya!" The african american girl introduced herself immediately. She looked at her red headed friend and nudged her slightly.

"I-I'm Milly!" The red headed girl squeaked nervously and looked at Matt with a small smile.

Matt nodded at meeting the two girls his grade and age,"It's nice to meet you two. Um..can I join your group?" He asked.

The two girls nodded, "We would love it if you joined!" The two chimed simultaneously.

Matt sat down at their table and watched as Mrs. Hertz passed out a piece of paper explaining a project. He rolled his eyes as he saw that it was a project. He glanced at Milly and felt his face turn red.

"Alright,take the sheet and start working on this project. This is worth a grade so get started as soon as possible." Mrs. Hertz instructed and was immediately cut off by the bell ringing.

Matt quickly got up and bumped into Milly. "Ah!" He fell backwards and saw Milly on the ground. "Oh man-" He got up and helped Milly up. "I'm so sorry"

Milly looked at him and lightly blushed, "N-No it's okay! Um...we'll see you later right?" She added as she got her stuff.

"Yeah. Give me a shout when we'll start" Matt said as he got his stuff and headed for the door.

"Will do!" Milly said and watched him leave.

"Uh oh..." Jeremie Belpois muttered as he scanned the virtual world known as Lyoko. "This isn't good"

"What's wrong Jeremie?" His pink haired friend Aelita asked.

"It's Xana. He's activated a tower." Jeremie replied.

"Great,now we gotta go to Lyoko and deactivate the tower." Yumi Ishiyama,the oldest of the group,said.

Matts older brother William nodded, "She's right"

Ulrich Stern,the silent one of the group,looked over at William then at Jeremie. "You know he's right" He glanced at Odd,the jokester,and then back at Jeremie.

"Alright. Let's go then. But be careful of the teachers" Jeremie warned the ground as they headed out to the factory.

"Aw man!" Matt banged his fist against his desk. He was in his dorm and on his computer. "Xana has launched an attack!" He quickly grabbed his bag and ran out the door,not knowing his brother and his friends were headed to the same factory.
