Chapter 8- Dark Past: Hidden Emotions

"I really don't like this movie..." I muttered as I felt Yellow and Blue cling onto my arms. We were watching Orphan. I didn't even consider this a movie. "Ugh let go..." I shook the two girls off and got up to go outside.

"Hey Teddy bear where you going?" Blue asked with a sad look on her face.

"Somewhere sane. This movie is terrible!" I said and walked out of the room.

"Oh you don't think it's terrible right Yellow?" Blue turned to see Yellow curled up in a ball and sleeping soundly. "And I'm talking to myself again..." She sighed and put a blanket over Yellow and then put a pillow under her head before getting up to follow me outside.

"..." I looked up at the sky and wondered, how long was it since that day. 7...8 years? I'm not exactly sure but I remember it clearly.

"Let go of me you stupid bird!" I struggled to get free from the bird. "I'll get you back for this! Just you wait!" I suddenly fell onto the ground and looked up to see tall figure wearing a mask. "W-Who are you?" I got up while glaring at him.

"...." No response.

"Hey I asked you- huh!?" I stopped midway my rant and saw the man reach out to me. I wanted to back up but I was frozen with fear. Pitch dark was all I saw next. I opened my eyes to realize I had a mask on.

"I expect great things from you boy...seeing as you have so much potential" The man spoke again. He shoved me to a girl who seemed to look younger than me. I felt her arms wrap around me and I put one arm around her protectively, "You show him around here..."

"I don't think I can do this...." I muttered.

"What can you do?" Blue spoke softly as she stood next to me and took my hand gently in hers. "If it's about the dance...I can understand if you don't want to go with me..."

"No no!" I looked at her and let her hold my hand, "It's not that. I'm...I'm just remembering something about my past that I'll always remember. It's not exactly the childhood I thought I'd have"

"What happened?" Blue knew that I'd always open up to her. I was already showing her my sentimental side,might as well tell her. "Well...a couple years back...I was kidnapped by this huge bird...I think it was definitely Lugia. I was robbed off my childhood and I didn't even get to grow up with some real friends...and it was all his fault"

Blue felt all her words get bundled into her head, "W-Who's fault?"

"The Masked Man's..." I looked down and heard her gasp. She probably didn't believe me. I got the same reaction out of Yellow when I first told her. "He familiar to you?"

"...." Blue looked at me and nodded slowly. "I escaped from him with Silver...but I couldn't do it alone. I had some help from a boy back then so I can't exactly take all the credit."

I felt as if my breath was cut off, "Do you remember his name at least?" It hit me like a ton of bricks and I was too stupid to even realize this sooner, Blue was there in the time period when I was part of the Masked Mans control.

"I think so..." Blue looked up at me. She was starting to realize this as well. She knew that I was the boy who helped before she escaped with Silver.

"Get her!!!" Will and Karen both skid around a corner and chased the young brunette.

"Can't catch me! You two must be really desperate for these!" Blue held up both the silver and rainbow wing.

"Koffing smokescreen!"

Blue suddenly stopped at seeing smoke surround her,Will,and Karen. She felt someone wrap their arms around her and lift her off her feet. "H-Hey!" She squeaked and soon saw everything clear as day.

"Good thing I found you..." I muttered while keeping my guard up.

"T-Theodore?" Blue looked to see she was on my back while I was riding my skateboard. "Oh...t-thanks for saving me."

"Yeah that's my name. Listen, where you heading?" I asked. I had no time to chat with her.

"U-Uh I'm going to meet up with Silver!" She said. "Where are you going! You should escape with us!"

"No...I've got something to deal with..." I looked around and stopped behind a building. "We should be fine now...I think we lost them." I turned to see her tremble in fear. I gently reached out a took her hand in mine. "Hey...we'll be alright. I'll get you out of here if it's the last thing I do"

"Okay then" Blue turned to see me and she soon felt her mask move and looked at me as I removed her mask.

"Hey you're really pretty...." I muttered without thinking. Her bright blue eyes got me to crack a small smile.

She blushed lightly and put her hand on my cheek and I felt my mask move. "Hold still..." Blue whispered and took off my mask. "Oh..." She put her hand on my cheek and looked into my eyes, "You're a cute one..."

I felt her warm touch and I blushed. "Well you're also cute"

"Thanks..." Blue smiled gently and held my hand as we both got up. "Alright. We should really go separate ways here. Thank you...so much."

I felt her slip out of my grip and then I held her hand tightly, "Promise we'll meet each other again..." I looked down and remembered how I didn't have any friends, "Please..."

Blue let go of my hand and hugged me energetically, "I promise! I love you Theodore...don't ever regret this. Okay?"

"I-I...I won't" I hugged her back and that was the last time I saw her for a few years.

"I can't believe you're the boy who helped me escape...I didn't think you were that boy. I always knew...when I first met you...I felt something as if we've already met. But you looked so different back then...energetic and hyper active" Blue looked up at me, her blue eyes were starting to be overcome by tears.

I turned to face her and felt myself tremble, "I was that guy...why do you think I acted as if I hated you? I didn't want to reconnect through our past. But...I did want to see you again..." My hands slowly balled into fists and I felt my emotions take over. Before I knew it, my eyes were releasing tears.

'Teo...' Blue threw her arms around my neck and held me closely as I continued crying. "I-It's okay..." She was crying too. I felt the tears seep into my shirt. "W-We're safe again. I assure you I'll do anything to keep you safe"

What I did next was unbelievable. Even I couldn't believe it.

I pulled back from our hug and then lifted her chin up to look at me. Her eyes were watering and she was overcome by the feelings she felt.I understood she couldn't help what and how she felt about me. I leaned forward and pressed my lips against hers.

Blue's eyes widened and felt her heart race quickly. She soon had her arms around my neck,kissing back with a little bit more passion. 'This...is this what I've been waiting for?' She was so confused of many things, but when it came to me and her, she knew what she felt. And Blue rightfully knew she loved me. I felt the same way.

After a couple of minutes, we pulled away from each other. We were both dazed from the kiss we had just shared. "Wow...." The both of us said simultaneously and smiled at each other.

"Teo...do you....like me?" Blue asked softly.

I shook my head, "No..." I put my hands against her shoulders, "I love you..."

"I-I love you too" Blue smiled. "Do you....want to be more than just friends?"

I stayed silent before I smiled another goofy smile and winked at her, "I would be honored to date the pretty evolver herself"

Off to the distance...

"Oh there is no way in hell THAT just happened!" Gold whispered angrily.

"Aw but they look so cute together..." Yellow murmured at the Johto trainer.

"Hmph...finally someone who can make Blue happy..." Silver muttered and smiled softly. "Right Red?"

"......." Red was surrounded by dark aura at seeing his best friend kiss a boy he found rather obnoxious.

"I'm taking...he doesn't like Teo?" Gold asked with a grin.
