You chose such an emotive subject. In spite of the multitude of walls, the colors of the graffiti and the light from the windows work together to create a sense of openness. The angle of the shot was perfect in that you framed the photograph so neatly, bringing the viewer into the building by showing glimpses of downstairs, upstairs, and other side rooms. The weathered textures of the floor and ceiling add warmth, and that painted blue eye looking straight out at us is so mysterious. I want to follow the blue walls higher and higher just to see what else the building has to offer. With one thoughtful composition, you turned an old building into a fresh puzzle. Wonderful job.
