some tipps/hints:In IFSonly-Setups and with two heightmaps in DEcombination (one heightmapIFS in first and one in second DEcomb Part) u can get a solid/endless ground and so u can cutout - see example - parts of a typical amazingIFS setup andΒ nevertheless the ground.
The smooth look is also a result of RoundedBox with rounded edges.
this "simple" setup renders comparatively fast - even with reflection (on my pc 8 minutes 3.820 x 2.880)

thx! - i played around with meshexport and in "real 3D" itΒ΄s easy to generate a "endless floor" ... and than the idea with two IFS-Forms and the RoundedBox ... and the smoky-glas/amber already exists:

btw. amiga hatte ich auch, aber leider mehr lotus gespielt, aber davor mit dem Commodore Plus 4, hab ich noch hinten an den SST-Kontakten gefummelt und mich gefreut, wenn ein kleines Programm dies auf dem Bildschirm ausgab

Ich hatte leihweise den c64 von einem freund damals
