It is, maybe here it looks kind of foggy (which I like in this picture though). Bright sunlight (very "mediterranean" to me) is quite typical of Trieste, instead, and, being a rather windy town, its air is usually quite clear.

Thanks Kris . A particular mixture of elements, maybe... typical blocks and skyscrapers, a venetian style belfry, a mitteleuropean style palace, tiled roofs...

lovely, it reminds me of scenes from video game called assasin's creed the roof's colours and effect where very similar.
