A quickie I did today, I'll code it in the next days though
I was thinking I should release my previous CSS journals, I have like 20, and people always liked them
What do you think? Should I?
Any suggestions to improve this sketch would be appreciated
UPDATE: The design stage is complete. Now I need to code it lol. Any help will be appreciated.

This is a very nice design. I love the organic colors and the textures throughout the piece. I definitely think you should code this and share it with the community. It is a great skin.

doesn't seem complicated to trim out to me, and doesn't seem to me you need to use transparent pngs

I like the design a lot. The only thing i would change is the wood texture background. I would put something else, the rays are awesome so you can find something nice to go with it. Regarding the rest is great

One of the best journals on DA definitely, but isnt it a bit too wide with width? The "calendar" thingie also seems a bit impossible to make, hopefully you get it working though.
