A quickie I did today, I'll code it in the next days though
I was thinking I should release my previous CSS journals, I have like 20, and people always liked them
What do you think? Should I?
Any suggestions to improve this sketch would be appreciated
UPDATE: The design stage is complete. Now I need to code it lol. Any help will be appreciated.

I think its the wrong attitude to ask for payment / donations for your art bud, you shouldnt be doing personal work for that..but for yourself if anything, morals..im confused!

Wise words. I've been thinking around that point of view for several weeks...
I usually get like $30 per month on donations for what I've posted around the net, and its like... nothing really relevant.
But still, if I were a person that appreciates a piece of art in a particular way and I would want to support the creator of those artworks, I'd donate. In fact, I've done that several times.
Maybe it looks weird to have a donation button there, I know, but still... I don't find a powerful reason to remove it.
Should I zap that donation area?

Well you shouldn't take donations like you say to 'encourage' you to make beautiful artwork..
You should be encouraged because you like sharing your art with the world, to yourself because its fun and you enjoy it..the fact that people want to look at your work, use it on their desktop's etc should make you happy and motivated..not by trying to get money out of people..
Out of all the digital artists I know, your the only one who is pulling this out, and im not really sure I agree about it to be honest..its like your trying to make a quick buck out of a site which encourages people to share their creations on this website for free..if thats your attitude then perhaps you should set up your own website with a donations button, because im pretty sure deviantart wouldnt encourage this..
If I were you I would take it out, its lowering your value as an artist and as a contributor here, plus if its not really making you any money anyway and its 'not really relevant'..then is there any point in people losing respect for you just over that?

great design! if dA make css journals available for no-pay-members i'll probably help you (not so pr0 but not so n00b)
