Stunning work. I agree with a previous comment, who's doing the surrendering?
(My 12 year old son (who could probably write a full guide to dragons of various differing mythologies) has just stumbled through (from bed to bathroom and back) and says it's obvious that the Dragon has surrendered. Even though it is on higher ground, it IS grounded. It's holding it's wing over her as if to shield her and it's body is predominantly turned away, tail and talons pointed away. Although it is looking at the woman, it's whole body posture shows deference, compared to her calm, collected stance. I'm not sure what is more awesome, the picture or the fact a half asleep child picked up on all that nuance.

The lighting really sets the mood, though it looks more like a truce than a surrender. If anything, I'm debating with myself on who's to surrender.

Very good work right here! I like the depth in this picture that you created with the blur-effects. It adds a lot of realism and action to this scene. You made the dragon look quite good too. It took me a while to realize that it was one of those 3d-renders that usually look kind of videogame-ish. Here it looks fine though.
