Two tips.

1. Show, don't tell.
You don't need to have the narrator or the characters say things the reader would assume. For instance, "What's happened to me? My body feels strange" can be shortened to simply "What's happening?"

2. Keep things short and simple.

It would be more natural to say "Bearers" or "Spirit-bearers" instead of saying "The Bearers of the Spirits of Harmony." I'm pretty sure that we'd know which bearers they're talking about if they did that.
Likewise, "That could only mean that she too bears a Spirit of Harmony" can simply be "[unconscious because her]... She is another bearer."

If you can, try to use italics to add accents in sentences. It gives the reader the rhythm of each sentence.

Other than that, superb story-telling.
