Spike isn't really hitting on her, per say. His affection is worn on his sleeve and just kinds of slips out without a second thought. Genuine is the best word o describe it.

She wasn't mean to him either. In fact Dog and Pony Show was early on in the series.

Anyways, Rarity has "experience" from her pony life. Hence the, 'have we met before.'

I know, hence, the willfully ignorant part. Even if she was ok to him in DPS, there were other moments in season 1 when she treated Spike no better than Twilight does during her busy streak, "in the zone" moments (which by some fans is pretty bad). Before season 2, for the most part, Rarity either didn't know Spike existed-which at one point caused her to hurt him-or chose to ignore Spike's love sick moments.

On your second point, this experience you speak of should apply to Twilight and Pinkie as well.

The taking the garbage out then kinda pushing him away thing I get, but if you're referring to Green Isn't Your Color, Spike actually didn't mind being a pincushion and for all we know he volunteered. Plus, Rarity directly apologizes for being so short with everyone because she's stressed out and thanks them for all their help.

Yeah, it's weird the girls don't seem to have that "experience" off the back. For the girls an event always seems to trigger the memories. Although, maybe for Rarity the event was simply Spike's rather extravagant and accidental comment about her. It is kinda of their thing.

Most in love for the first time tend to do almost anything to impress their crush, including things they won't normally do. Just cause he didn't say no doesn't make it right. As for Rarity apologizing, I didn't see her being stressed when Spike was fanning her. I do wonder if she said sorry more for the girl's sake.

I don't think Rarity does this intentionally, but until season 2, Rarity was "ok" to Spike at best.

Maybe it was the comment, but I still like that she was the one to realize over Spike.

Yeah, there's a lot going on off screen we can only really speculate to. A lot of the scenes in the first season were very
just them appearing together. I don't fully disagree don't get me wrong, until Secret of My Excess Rarity doesn't seem as interested in Spike's crush. My overall point here is, that because of her remembrance of her "experiences" we basically skip that part from season 1.

Spike's trigger might be different. I think the writer made a really good decision having Rarity realize first, as it allows them to skip the first season it's just a crush thing and I'll play along.

There's one thing bitterly ironic about Spike's relationship with the two ponies closest to him (Twilight and Rarity). Until season 2, I couldn't see how Sparity could ever work.

In regard to this comic, I don't think "experience" from the other world comes into play here. She feels Spike is familiar, but that's it (there's no memories to work with). It can't be foretold yet that this Rarity won't fall into the "it's just a crush thing, play along". The difference here is while she's still occupied with other matters, this Rarity properly looks at Spike, taking note of his antics and even asking about him.

I love your art, and the story you've written is a lot of fun, but the English is still pretty rough despite all the translators you listed. Is there anything I could do to help?

I'm pretty good with Photoshop and I have excellent grammar (if I do say so myself), so if iyou just need someone to take the time to update the text, I could change it into more fluent English.

One thing- it takes something like 20 people to make a single transfusion, and it's generally a specific part of the blood(plasma is the most common, I think). Add to that the significant limitations on blood donors(I'm pretty sure homeless people are excluded, partly from worry for their health), and you've got a silly plot point.
