Yeah, no. Fluttershy would not be wearing a PeTA hat. PeTA is against pet ownership and Fluttershy runs a shelter for pet care and adoption. The only way they could be more opposed is if one of them slaughtered most of the animals they got on a regular basis.

If those few happened to be major characters in the organization who are inherently tied to it (the president and the various vice presidents, namely), then it's safe to call out the whole organization. Everyone who isn't an important component of the business has the right to leave if the like to, so there's really no excuse.

You have to remember that whoever signs the checks is in charge, and whoever that may be, they give almost as much money to terrorist organizations as they do to the SPCA and similar groups.

Now don't get me wrong about this. I believe we should clean up our collective act with animals; spay and neuter pets, better living conditions for farm animals, stronger focus on adoption rather than euthanization, and not using animals to experiment with superfluous cosmetics. That being said, PeTA takes things way to far. They try to guilt people into joining them, target children to get to their parents, fund terrorists, and worst of all, most of the head honchos are hypocrites.

In the end, I don't think that the folks who are making all the money at PeTA really care about animals at all. They just want money and power, and their willing to exploit people's humanity towards animals to get it.

Such a wonderful back-story!  I see you've solved the aspect ratio issue in your panels.  Nothing is squashed or stretched.  When I see young Fluttershy with red paint on her, I somehow get images of her going berserk on her tormentors like Carrie.  

Young RD looks too cute, in a good way.  Fluttershy, too, but that's expected.  It'd be a real surprise if it turned out she wasn't cute when she was young.

Why am I not surprised that the Fluttershy of the past actually considered suicide.....too close to home for my taste.

 And it's because of stupid bitches and assholes that deserve a .44 to their respective temples and want to be "the head guy/girl on campus"  or something similar to wanting to be cool....and don't give the attention/notoriety/popularity that so many shallow-minded people want so much to have....or get...

......grrrr.....trying to calm myself a bit...


....It's a great save for Rainbow, and easily the most important save of not only Rainbow, but Fluttershy's lives.   I can't stand to even think about if Flutters actually succeeded.....

Gotta say, Spitfire and Soarin look even better than their pony designs, though the uniforms may bias my judgement, a bit, maybe. Soarin reminds me of Goku, a hard worker, determined, doesn't give up but sometimes very lazy and quite comedic and often incurs the wrath of his wife or in Soarin's case, his sometimes girlfriend Spitfire.
