Yay!  Another engrossing chapter!  I've been looking forward to this for a while!  

Gilda is very easy to manipulate.  Sometimes, the bad-guy likes to plant a seed of doubt, but Gilda just got walloped by the whole tree!  Ouch...

I'd just like to take this moment to say, please, please, PLEASE don't make this an instant heel-face turn.  The beauty of the last piece of the puzzle is that it can afford to take its time.  Applejack is currently a mystery, even more so than Rainbow had been.   I'd like to see that mystery pan out a bit longer to give AJ some good character development. That said, it's your story.  Even if things do happen quickly, I'm sure the story will be just as enjoyable.  Your storytelling skills have already been well demonstrated.

Anyway, great job as usual!  Your creativity and dedication is truly inspiring.  Keep it up, and I look forward to whatever comes next!

I don't know if somebody noticed, but you made Fluttershy younger than Pinkie Pie. If you want to make the comic more fitting to cartoon, you must know that Fluttershy is an year older than Pinkie Pie and it was told by Fluttershy in first episode with Gilda, in 1st season

I'm going to repeat what I've posted before. I think that Gilda will accept the dark power but, like Anakin Skywalker, do so under the delusion that it will help her fight at Rainbow's side and protect her from Discord.

To use another Star Wars parallel, Applejack is going to need to unlearn much of what she has learned about what she thinks is the natural order of things.
