but I was inspired by the old broly, not that of the new movie

Awesome. And I'm also a fan of DBZ. I also like Super okay. Not as good as Z, though. The Future Trunks Saga, however, kicked ass. So did the new Broly movie, it was awesome.

Even so, I still prefer the old attitude

since it adapts to the myth that vegeta was talking about the legendary super saiyan (at least as told in the anime DBZ)

im gonna also gonna add into this and say you really really need to watch the dbs movie. Broly is a much better character. then the one in the original movie. also i'd advise watching the teamfourstar dragonball z abridged. they do the most amazing work, especially with the original broly movie

Oh, That one's my favorite of TFS's abridged movies. DBZ Abridged is also an amazing and hilarious series. I love it and I think it's my favorite series on YouTube. Now if only they could just get to Bojack already.

Yup. The new movie turned Broly into a sympathetic character. He is simply a victim of what he is, a super powerful being born in a world where being stronger than your king is a crime punishable by death. And Kakarot isn’t a factor in his origin story this time. He doesn’t even know Goku.

I highly recommend watching Dragon Ball Super Broly. Unlike the rest of Super (which I like, but I digress), it actually feels like proper DBZ.
