After seeing this beautiful contest that was running in DA, I thought I would also love to draw one of my old drawings again, although I don't enter in the contest any more
This is not really to see how much I improved, it's obvious that my drawings are better now, 21 years later. (If not would have been pretty hard!!). But I wanted to redraw this girl, which is really special for me. When I was 9 my grandparents gave me a huge, 2 floor Faber-Castell pencil wooden box. One of the best presents of my life! I started drawing an army of women, the N:F army (don't ask me why...), and this one is the first of more than 900 characters I did with this box. I will redo some more in the future, it makes real fun! And I must confess, that even if my technique is better now, my drawings of the past are fresher!
