like i said earlier i'm mostly uploading my best works to this account, most of my stuff falls far below the bar i set for myself here (not to mention i also have chronically low self-esteem, which you've probably noticed. rip)

Understandable. I only upload my best stuff, but hey, there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing that! 

(I have noticed, but you know what? That doesn't mean you're a bad artist just because you struggle with low self esteem. There's a saying that goes "You are your own worst critic". I sometimes have that tendency as well, to not think my art is good based on the way I perceive myself. Sometimes we need to cut ourselves some slack. I'm sorry if what I'm saying seems cliche or filled with platitudes, but I sincerely mean well. If you ever need a listening ear or just want to vent to someone, feel free to shoot me a note. Don't do it if you're not comfortable doing so, but if you are, I'll always be available Best of luck to you, and keep your head up kiddo. )

thank you so much for this, i tend to be really harsh on myself, especially as of late since i've been under a fair bit of stress but you're absolutely right about cutting ourselves slack -- no matter how good or bad the finished result is, work is work and we deserve to rest

I understand that. We often sweat the small things we really don't need to, and cause a lot of unnecessary pressure. I should practice what I preach though, I have perfectionistic tendencies Exactly!
