Hmmm *thinking hard*
It's hard to explain for me, especially in english.
Making adoptables with bishes was easier for me, cause I'm addicted to them, and learn hard what makes them hot, by looking at other bishies. Goggles are hot, scarfs are hot, gloves are hot ... Ehm, It's also useful to look at popular characters, and analize them (analize what people like about them). For eg Rivaille X'D He's short, have that omggg gaze, and I like his hair. Or Grimm. Dat hair, dat teeth, dat naked torso with big scar.....
Omg, im bubbling about useless shit, I don't know aksjdal ;n; I drew characters which I like. At first I sketched a lot of elements of outfits, mixed them... I was changing characters hairstyles, their outfits, and stuff and checked what suits them the best.

lol that wasn't mean that serious, hehe. actually I don't care what's popular cause often the most popular characters (especially when it comes to oc's ) are lame designed with dull colors, so I prefere the bright ones I do, and even if I don't get a lot of good feedback to that I don't care c:
