This generation of xeno is my favorite. I kinda wish the origonal designers had kept some of the transparency in the dome--in the origonal film you could actually see the hinting of eye sockets through the carapace. Love this render and love your gallery ;D

As much as I like the design Stan Winston studios created, I'm with you on that. I actually much rather prefer Giger's original which I'm actually in the middle of modeling full body. Hope to have some screenshots to post soon.

Giger is a flipping genius, he's the only reason I sat through Species. Gaw, talking about Alien makes me want to rewatch the series--I can't wait to see your render, good luck on it!

This is gonna look awesome when it's done.
Are you familier with ZBrush? I've only just attained it... But you can do some really awesome work with it, you know, adding details to a main mesh and such. I think some small details on this mesh would look sweet as!
