Majestic...I've always had a fear of spiders, large ones in particular. This is definitely what makes many works of the macabre much more frightening, when the viewer is able to draw a connection between childhood fears and other such things. you've succeeded
Really am drawn to the decaying atmosphere, it is drawn with incredible detail and realism, great work.

At the risk of sounding like a cop-out, my honest reason is because I love monsters. I always have, they're always more interesting to look at than the protagonist. Monsters are just plain cool!
