Looks like a really weird voodoo master type of guy. Could be a legitimately interesting character for a horror story.

Yes, I really do like the toned paper give you an opportunity to use white pencils for highlights. Makes it feel more like painting

I draw in just any art store bought sketchbook. I use a 0.5 mechanical pencil with B lead, a kneaded eraser and a paper towel for blending. I keep it pretty simple

I dont't know wether you did it on purpose and used the game Persona 3 by Shin Megami Tensei as a reference, but if not, you should look up that game. It resembels the monsters there, called Shadows, a lot because they also have those kind of masks and such long arms.

Love it! I can imagine it's story just from it's looks and pose and that's the best thing ever!
I have a feeling that this is an otherworldly creature, trying to understand humanity by dissecting their souls and wearing the aspects of their personalities as masks, becoming a new person with each mask, but never really getting any closer to understanding, because these souls it steals are now forever broken.
Well, I let my mind trail away for a while XD

A really interesting design for the arms, I've not seen something this strange before... It looks so weird, as if you took an animals body, which is supposed to walk on four legs, and put it on a humans under body
My favourite part are the masks, they looks o beautiful and detailed!
To me, the masks and the fact that you call it "persona" makes me think of it as a character- or even shape-changing creature. Depending on the mask it's wearing, it has a different look, a different personality.
Amazing creature all in all, I'd love to live in a world where your creations are real...
Though I wouldn't like to meet them, I suppose...

Thank you! The arm positions are due to the fact that it was originally going to be an insect type creature but I changed it at the last minute. No planning goes into any of my drawings, I just freestyle.
