Description
Here's a sequence of MicaiahΒ from Fire Emblem Awakening inflating. The line work was drawn by an awesome artist (who prefers to not be mentioned by name), colored and shaded by me, and suggested by . I really enjoyed working on this, and I hope all you guys like it too!(Don't think I'm going to color big sequences like this again though... at least, not all at once)

You're welcome, I'm really glad that you like it! I actually used a separate layer to give the suit it's transparency, so I'd be able to go back and make alternate versions if I wanted

ah, it's awesome to see this, I almost forgot that guy was an inflation artist since it's been so long and he removed almost all of what he made. Β glad to see people still remember that glorious forgotten past!

Thanks! It took a while to finish this entire thing, but I think it was worth it.

yeah that can be a challenge since he did some long ass sequences, I remember I tried to color a 9-part sequence he did (with two characters no less) and I had to cut it down to only 4 or 5 frames, all on one sheet of paper. it was kind of disastrous given the characters were like the size of AA battery when printed out (aside from the one being inflated, who grew to maybe a playing card at peak). he also tends to have everything very pushed out from the center, so I had to use huge strokes to color the belly, then I needed a scalpel to get color onto the shoes, underwear, face, hands etc. Long story short I'm sticking to the one-page drawings if I ever color more of his stuff lol
I think this from his "pencil on yellow paper" phase, no less which is a real pain in the ass to make clean lineart out of no less...

Ah... well, since I did it on a laptop, the main problem I had was just turning the original sketch into clean line-art that I could use. After that, it was mostly just a test of time and patience to get the whole thing shaded properly.

I love how the bodysuit becomes slightly translucent.

I have plans to open up sprite suggestions sooner or later, but not until I make more sprites to base them on
