its from a series of books called Blacksad, written by Juan Diaz Canales and drawn/painted by Juanjo Guarnido.
It's a French comic, but it has been translated to English. One of the best looking books you can get in my opinion.

It's a Brother scanner/printer. It's one of the ones that can scan large documents, but is still pretty cheap.
