hmmm... irdk. in my version of Pyro's backstory he invented the goggles himself so we would have to ask him. of course maybe he heard of the show while his goggles were off and wouldn't even bother to wear his mask there. if youre wondering how the hell he heard of a show whose first generation wasnt even existent during the game's supposed timeset (1968), i have a theory: the teams, admin, ms pauling, hale, and all the closest friends and family of the mercenaries were all cryogenically frozen until around this year/decade/century in order to have access to more advanced tech for battling and upon being unfrozen they were informed of all the things that have changed over the past 4 decades or whatever. they managed to find out about other things, like mlp and bronies, from being out in the world

Even when Meet the Pyro came, at first I thought the idea when the Spy spoke about is Pyro is a horror show murderer just like Pinkamena would be in. But when Pyroland came in, it's Pinkie in her really happy side, that's where KingSparta change the Magic music to Smile Smile Smile.
