Great Duke (well, Duchess, here) of hell, described as an angel holding a serpent and mounting a dragon.The name refers to the goddess Ashtart/Astarte/Ishtar, too, so Astaroth is female here.
The snake is part of her body.

Mmm, lovely composition here. Awesome that she's fusing with a Quetzalcoatl-esque serpent; apparently Quetzy was also associated with the planet Venus like Innana, Ishtar-Astarte, Isis, and Aphrodite were.
It always really bugged me that Astaroth was listed as a male. *Twitch.*

(en fait, c'est la poitrine de l'oiseau qui est rouge, pas le bout des ailes)
A la base, en fait, c'était juste une question de faire du rouge pour ressortir sur un fond vert...pas très romantique comme explication...
