Hey, you know, it would be really nice that we could use anime/manga ALONG WITH fantasy, sci-fi etc, because choosing between the two is REALLY a hassle.Well, back to business, commission for , a young Drow shadowcaster/mage prodigy and her raven pet from another plane.
Casting a spell in a library is a bad idea.
Castng two spells in a library is a really bad idea
Casting a fire spell in a library is a extremely good idea if you seek trouble.
(by the way, libraries are long to paint !)

Excelent design on the magic, it must have taken quite a few scrap drawings. I particularly like how the shadow magic seeps into the floor. The armor design on the otherhand confuses me on an aspect of the mage. The armor looks rather restrictive for a mage that uses physical motions to draw on energies. I do like the pages flying in the air quite a bit. Interesting use of the background design to add the the central focus of the character but still providing eye candy in the back drop and the work on the raven is spectacular. By far one of my more favorite artworks by you!

As the creator, I'll answer that note. Shadowcasters can easily lose the need to not wear armor. The mage part becomes more of a hassle. Mages are more restricted, but, with a few easy tweaks via the DnD rules, a mage can easily wear medium armor (treated as light) and still cast like a pro. Since she's a shadowcaster first, the armor is an easy add-on for her.

Je sais pas trop quoi dire, l'ensemble du dessin roxxe du petit poney.
Allez, mention spéciale au décor qui est vraiment très très (très) réussi ! Mais le perso est loin d'être en reste.
En revanche, j'ai peur pour les plumes du corbeau avec tout ce feu ambiant.

Superbe !! J'aime beaucoup le décor avec les bibliothèques les vitraux et les livres et les feuilles qui volent (coup de coeur pour le feuille près du coude droit-donc à gauche de notre point de vue- de la drow^^).
J'aime beaucoup le personnage en lui même, la texture de ses cheveux et des ailes et plumes et l'effet donné au fluide/rayon magique noir ... c'est du plus bel effet !!

Si... Contre eux! Enfin ça c'est une considération perso quant à l'histoire des drows.
Techniquement, dans un univers ou un autre, on peut bien trouver des inquisiteurs allumés dans l'heroic fantasy. Par exemple y en a dans Berserk (quoique connaissant Guts je ne sais pas où je peux le classer -_-')!

I love the fire and darkness, they seem so magical. Her expression looks so innocent... as she holds arcane fire in one hand, sorcerous darkness in the other.

Ah c'est sûr qu'invoquer un sortilège de feu dans un bibliothèque n'est pas recommandé... sauf si l'but et de mettre le feu à la dite bibliothèque
