There's life in this painting! It's not just a landscape with nothing happening, everything just sitting there. This is so great.

I really enjoy the feeling of thick paint that you pull off, it's something that is really missing from my work. That and the palette make me think of Frazetta's work. I've always loved "mysterious forest" type settings and this works wonderfully. My one criticism is that the lack of a foreground layer has a slight flattening effect on the scene; surely there would be some bushes or branches between us and the large trees to either side.

Good point you mentionned about the foreground, this would have helped to immerse more in the canvas... I take note of it.

Vraiment beau Max, j'aime comment on sent la lumière sans voir de ciel vraiment, les teintes claires se retrouve au niveau du sol seulement, c'est cool franchement !
