I like most of the little monster films that rip-off Gremlins or were developed before it. Here's a fanart of every single one.

Gremlins: The God of all the movies; I love this movie! Its sequel too. 10/10 for both. Belongs to Warner Bros.

Critters: Actually a pretty damn action-packed film. The first one's the only one I enjoyed. 9/10 for the 1st, 5/10 for the 2nd, 3/10 for the 3rd, 2/10 for the 4th. Belongs to New Line Cinema

Ghoulies: I actually thought it was creepy, goofy, cult fun. This was a film that was developed before Gremlins was, to tell you the truth. The sequel was half as good, though. 6/10 for the 1st one, 4/10 for the 2nd, 6/10 for the 3rd, 3/10 for the 4th. Belongs to Empire Picture

Hobgoblins: The only one I hated. Watch it on MST3k, though you won't find any Gremlins jokes in that version. 0/10 for that one. But what I liked about Hobgoblins 2 was that it wasn't just a sequel, it was a mickey-take of the first, being bad on purpose this time and mentioning a film about "puppets that turn women into sluts". 7/10 for the sequel. Munchies: I've got to admit that this was actually campy fun, even if it was a bit too raunchy for a PG. Look closely in the film and you'll see a couple of direct Gremlins references. The first time I heard of the phrase "Munchie" in a movie title was the, uh, sequel, where they scared the living crap out of me as a child with this little dude . 6/10 for Munchies, 3/10 for Munchie Strikes Back. Troll: The first one was very cheesy, but actually pretty imaginative and fun. 6/10. I later watched the second one, which has goblins that I couldn't fit into this picture, and . 0/10 for Troll 2. Belongs to Empire Pictures

Killer Tomatoes: Click this [link] for my review of Killer Tomatoes Strike Back. These tomatoes seemed to appear in the 4th one, Killer Tomatoes Eat France, which was a pile of crap that's actually funny as hell. 8/10 for KT 4. Belongs to KT Entertainment
