As some unfunny twit who thinks his own commentaries on Pooh's Adventures videos are horrible, here is a picture of what I think of Douglas Walker, or That Guy With the Glasses, or the Nostalgia Critic, or as a friend likes to call him, Doug Phunny, today. I do not recall him calling the audience stupid or dumb. If you're referring to his freakout at the pantry door thing, I think that was directed squarely at Shyamalan or the characters of the film. Come on, it's idiotic as hell that aliens have trouble with something like, assuming that's what you're referring to.

Dude, he plays up drama and exaggerates his own frustration for the sake of the show. That's always been one of its brands of humor. He's not personally assaulting anybody for liking it. I mean he said "Monkeys aren't funny" in Dunston Checks In, and seeing how prevalent they still are, I'm sure some people do still find them funny. But at least he was not personally assaulting anyone, he was expressing his own opinion.
He said he hated the Flintstones, he said he hated Mr. Magoo despite the fact that both of those are considered classics by many.
Sorry, but if you're insulted by one video, then why the hell are you watching any one his works? I mean he hated Twister and Good Burger, two movies I really, really like but you don't see me bashing him for it. I respect his opinion even if I don't agree with it. Doug was merely playing things up for the sake of humor, he's not singling out anyone.

It's not just that one video. It's just that to me, he's been running out of creativity and selling himself out for months. It's fine if you view it that way; I personally don't.

"The Sweenz" has pretty much proves that the people who help bring content to the site, despite the hit or miss flow of reviews and the occasional poor choice of talent, can bring hilarious and fearless comedy with the right ingredients.
The star of the site meanwhile is succumbing to his own dead tired and multi-formulaic jokes. So desperate that he's even puts himself over his own fan-base and not with the "laugh along with him" attitude of the past. [link] [link]
"It's part of the act of his characters", what characters?! Ask That Guy has devolved into another Nostalgia Critic and the Bum acts more sober than he was and can form what Doug thinks is a review. And why tell people to go watch the movie he reviewed when he spoiled the biggest surprises?!

where he reviewed the interesting underrated awesome anime called devilman and hates it…thinking its terrible because of the horrid dubbing and not bothering to watch the original Japanese language version of devilman…He was so unfair to devilman..i dont hate him i just wish he would watch subbed animes then makes his finale decisions about it…And i was kind of annoyed how he dissed the old akira dubbed anime film…...

I still watch his reviews. But his jokes tend to be kind of meh at times.

I still watch him and I honestly think he still manages to do some good reviews, although I really hate how he has to constantly work around those friggin' commercial breaks that blip.tv just HAD to add in the middle of his reviews. It does lead to some funny moments when done well, sure, but I'm getting sick of that, nonetheless.
