Description
Following my Charlie Tuna fanart ( [link] ), here's another pic related to the sick and twisted food mascots. While some are cannibals, others wish they could be in the next Jackass movie! And you thought the kind of comedy where someone commits suicide was only for adults. The Peperami Animal: These ads glorify food suicide in the most glorious way possible. And that's how food suicide should be - only for the criminally insane! [link]
The Vimto raspberry, blackcurrant and grape: The more recent characters, this trio is "Seriously Mixed Up Fruit" indeed. They once had a discussion about how they should kill themselves to collide, and thought a blender would be too boring. Seems that they've changed their minds here.
The Ribena blackcurrants: More suicidal blackcurrants - these bouncy little cuties recently appeared in a new ad where they all become Ribena. How? They jump into the glass, letting out that classic "Woo!" to give us some nostalgia, and apparently melt to become juice. It's as if the glass is poisonous. Not as cute you think of it, eh? [link]
Creme Egg: Like the Peperami animal, I've done a fanart of this one before, only one wasn't enough. These ads are like The Book of Bunny Suicides - with gooey, chocolatey eggs! [link]
Smith's Singing Spuds: "We wanna be, Smiiiiiiiith's Crisps!" Yeah, because being stolen, chopped into slices, put in an oven, having your skin bubble off and getting eaten so that you can become nothing more than excrement will make your life so much more awesome! [link]
Cinnamon Toast Crunch/Curiously Cinnamon squares: So cannibalistic that they even eat themselves up. [link]
M&M's Minis: Tons of chocolate candies searching for a mouth. This difffers from the main spokescandies, even if they are cannibals. God bless them for satirising it in 2000. [link]
Clucky the Cluckin' Chicken: Obviously a fake, this decapitated character appeared in a sketch on Saturday Night Live to make fun of any mascot who wants to be eaten or thinks they are delicious. Good ol' SNL! [link]
Circus Fun elephant: One of those weird cereal ads from the 80's, this one features marshmallow animals jumping through a hoop to turn into smaller ones ready to be eaten. Someone call the American Humane Association! [link]
Van Bisbergen carrot: The vegetable equivalent of the Cochon Prodigue ad. Adding the pig would be a bit too gory. From a greengrocery in Keizerstraat, Scheveningen, The Netherlands. [link]

Ah, Clucky. I did a YTP of him during the YTPGod days, I would reupload it, if weren't for NBC.

They're all part of the same cult. If they are eaten, their souls will go to their master, the Space Armadillo's home.

I've always found those ads disturbing for the very same reason.

I always loved the SNL chicken, seeing as he shows the twistedness of fast food places having farm animal mascots...

I kept giggling when I saw the wallβeyed chicken head. C:
