I'll definitely have to give Dyntopo mode a try.

Wow, I canβt believe you got a character modelled as well as this in blender
Congrats, that is just brilliant.
Out of curiosity, how many faces are in it
Ohh was the sculpting tool used a lot in this as well

Thanks ! The body alone is worth 200k polys and the whole scene is around 600k.

What's the new Dyntopo mode? And can you use this sculpt to generate displacement maps?

Dynotopo is a new way of sculpting, very sculptris like, with dynamic topology. It's been made by Nicholas Bishop ( [link] ) . You can not use just the sculpt to generate displacement maps, since, it can't have an accurate uv unwrapp (because of the dynamic topology .

Looks really good. Haven't tried 2.64 with dyntopo yet. Is it any better?

It is a totally new way to sculpt in Blender, you must try it (it s very Sculptris like )

I have used dyntopo but not in 2.64. It's way harder for me to get polished results in dyntopo than in sculptris. I guess i could sculpt in 2 stages to improve results. After getting the base shape sculted i could retopologize and then sculpt details.
