This along with all of your space photos is really cool I love the sun and then the dying star because it kind of represents life and death. Life being the sun which gives us the ability to live and death being the dying star. 
Overall though keep up the awesome work

Personnaly, I find it very cool. Tough...

The explosion effect would be better a bit more centered and the red part spreading over the planet would be better a bit more faded and irregular on the edges

This is really good. Love the details. That world actually looks like it's going to turn into a molten pile of goo any second. Good job!

This is a great image, and I like the composition - though having said that, when viewed to fit the screen, it feels a bit... cluttered, as though the background stars/nebulae are too 'invasive' or bright. I think it'd look better if the farther stars had a reduced brightness, and the closer stars weren't quite so large/demanding of attention (per se). But other than, it's a great image - as I say.
