Do you have a resource that you use for outfit assembling? Do you look at magazines, online, etc? I need to get better at choosing outfits for characters, and I've always loved your designs!

I do look at some fashion websites and fashion blogs, but more for fun rather then to look for specific ideas for a picture. But sometimes they give me some picture ideas anyway. More often though I get them from IRL, when I'm on the train to and from work I like to see what people are wearing, because I like outfits that seem like something people might wear in real life.
My general method for thinking up outfits is something like this:
Choose main theme (i.e. baggy jacket/cardigan with shorts/skirt <- one of my favourite ones ^^). Usually I'll have an idea about some elements but not others, like I really want a particular jacket, but no strong opinion on shoes or shirt. So then I'll look at people and when I see someone wearing a cool shirt, say, I'll try to think "will it look good with the outfit I'm thinking of now?", or maybe it will in different colour or something.
Some of my favourite blogs are:

Sometimes I just go to a clothing store website as well.

I like her too, which was a big step for me once upon a time: to like a non-main character who, is different from the main character...

Well, for a while it was hard for me to see differences from the main character in positive light. That is if they were less violent of less ruthlessly pragmatic I would see it as being naive or week. Logically I knew it was a silly thing to think, but it wasn't untill maybe 3 or so years ago that I was able to intuitively relate to characters that are less sociopathic then my main characters...
