Chart byNot all my influences are here, but the strong,hard to forget, and more recent ones are...I try not to take too much from any one source but they all float around in the back of my head...
this doesn't count buddies of mine cause I'm constantly learning from many many friends.

Also, the Little Nemo anime was pretty quirky. They tried to make it look more like Disney I remember them saying. But that movie gave me nightmares when I was younger. There are some pretty rough parts for a kids movie...

I personally love his Cutie Honey and Devilman series, and all the incarnations based on them ; u ;.
I remember Roger Rabbit, but only because I saw it for the first time when I was like...I think I was 15? lol! I was way behind. But Little Nemo had nightmare sequences, like the beginning one where he ends up in a desolate and destroyed New York City, and it ends with a chase scene of a train chasing him. Come on.
Every person I know that saw it when they were kids all stated the black goo or the Nightmare King gave them nightmares when they were little XD

Cutie Honey, Getter Robo, Devilman, i've read very very little of his work and I plan to fix that, but I've always REALLY dug his style and comics.
Hahah well I saw it way later too late to get effected...I think the first thing I ever saw was Unico ...Actually the thing that really gave me nightmares were zombie/polergeist movies x_x

He does have a lot of world-famous stories out there. Personally I can't stand his Kekko Kamen or Iron Virgin Jun series ; n ; Jun was just horrifying as an OVA and the manga is ahhhhh.

Anyway, I can definitely see how all these influences integrate to influence and inspire the artist you are now.

I know. Everytime I look at one of these, I go "Oh yeah! THAT one!" I could stare at Amano's stuff all day. I'm always checking him out from the library to stare at his illsutrationssss. And Otomo and GO NAGAI are awesome. Go Nagai seems to have such awesome staying power with respect to time, it's amazing!
