And here's my entry for a character design challenge I found. I don't know how popular or well known it is, I just happened to stumble across the prompt "ninja cats" and I was determined.Related content

Gorgeous flow. Love the curved motion present throughout the piece, and your details are as sharp as ever--especially like how you did the hood. I'm not sure what specifically the prompt requested, but I will say that the pose - while full of action and motion - distracts from showcasing the actual design of the character. There are parts that are unclear (what is the design of his chest, what is the symbol on his elbow, where do the tassels by his feet connect, etc.), and I think an additional pose/turnaround would help with really bringing the focus in on what the design of this character is.
That said, again, dunno the specifications of the challenge, and this is a dang good piece all the same. Good work, man.

Thanks! Yeah I see what you mean, and the arm coming across the body is visually confusing as well. I should have recognized that sooner. As for pose, many other artists on the challenge have just used cool poses, so I just followed similarly www.facebook.com/groups/Charac…
