Ah, programming. It might be easier to build a house with a catapult than trying to make codings that actually works (I may have severely exaggerated things, but I hope you get the gist
)

The thing is, I wouldn't call that an exaggeration..

I can relate. I've never tried to learn code, but I have "tried to learn."

I'm kind of at the point of my life where I constantly have to keep my walls open, because I'm constantly having to learn new stuff, and my brain is just basically trying to take in all this stuff and process it...

You may have to be that way for many more years, if not the rest of your life. Take it from somebody's who's 30 and still learning a new job. ^^

I can relate hard. I'm a junior studying computer science, and I totally still get stuck on stuff like this.

I took a semester of basic Python and that was certainly something. It was always fun to spend more time finding a tiny mistake than it took to write the program.

Lol, yes. I remember my single semester of Programming. Searching through several lines of code for that one, single mistake. *shudders*

And it was just the semicolon

I really want to learn this stuff, for the sake of being able to do it if called upon to, but it's going to take me a long while before I get anywhere with it...

Yeah, fortunately it isn't too hard to get a comp sci job apparently.

Perhaps because it's not as glorified a position as say an artist.

That, and the industry is growing quickly.
