Rachel who lives in New York City, is enthusiastically explaining to Amir certain uhhh "benefits", such as the ever so classic freedom of speech. By the way, this is in no way have any subliminal messages rob a bank in this light humored comic. I thought it'd be funny and cute to show culture gaps, such as language between Halo's parents. Amir basically gives the whole "freedom of speech" thing a shot by telling Rachel "I love you" but he says so in his native language, not English. LOL. The whole shot down thing is also a pilot joke....obviously

Heh-heh, that is hysterically sad. Poor Amir. Rachel is totally right with the "freedom of speech" here in the states. I once talked to a Dutchman who was surprised people spoke more freely on really touchy subjects without getting your name in the newspaper (if you were an organization or church) here than in Denmark. I must resist the urge to call it Holland.... Anyway, I like the comic; panels 1 and 3 especially. xD
