How curious, every panel has a different art style.

I try to make in in two styles - more realistic and comics one for the last one panel, but that experiment has failed ^^'

I hate them, and the Cazadores are the ONLY thing I hate more.

Oh god, Cazadores... when I got to Big Mountain, the first thing I did when I was able to return, was find a Nest of Cazadores and show them what a Cyborg's like.

Now, that's one reason to buy Old World Blues.
Of course, from what I've read, that DLC is PERFECT for the more fun-loving side of me.

It's pretty amazing, lots of enemies to fight, lots of new toys and gadgets and useful cyborgification.
And the undead as well... well, not really undead. Just automated suits that still carry the skeletons of their deceased wearers.
Oh, and did I forget to mention the K-9000 Machine Gun, which has a dog's brain in it and acts like a faithful companion with .327 ammunition?

SnapCentino In reply to SIERRA-116 [2015-01-21 19:54:45 +0000 UTC]
And one of the cyborgifications has an anti-poison effect, is that right?

What is your opinion on the other DLCs?

SIERRA-116 In reply to SnapCentino [2015-01-23 02:15:24 +0000 UTC]
I didn't like the first one, Sierra Madre, but overall it was a 'good' DLC, just... not my cup of tea, though the rewards for save scumming in the casino are worth it.
Honest Hearts, yeah, it was good, but I didn't particularly grow fond of the tribal theme and having to ditch a few guns for the weight limit was annoying.
As for Lonesome Road... shit, that was awesome. Best Companion, and the guns were amazing. Automatic rocket launcher anyone?

Agreed, Dead Money isn't all that great, especially if you were expecting to use anything (weapons, gear, effing stimpacks) you've acquired up until that point.... Β though the automatic rifle is nice.
Wasn't the biggest fan of the Red Glare's reload time, but getting access to the Elite Riot Gear/Helmet plus all that free AP ammo was pretty damn sweet.
Sorry for bargin' in but recently picked up the Ultimate edition on the super cheap and damn it's good, not that NV wasn't good before, but there's a ridiculous amount of extra content.Β

What kind of console do you have?
Because on older consoles, once you reach level 50, the game becomes damn near unplayable if you don't have much space left in your hard drive. I have an 80 G PS3, recently started anew on a 200 slim owned by a friend, transferred my Level 50 save over, works much better, though still a little laggy.

older Xbox 360 Β with 120GΒ
Of course it's a Bethesda Fallout game so it's still going to be a little laggy, but a little lag is nothing to the shear amount of awesome. Plus I'm assuming patches were added since the Gun Runner merchant kiosk doesn't freeze up anymore... which is ridiculously nice, for so many reasons.Β

It's playable on a newer, bigger hardrive PS3. I have an old 80g one.

I've heard many things about how Lonesome Road is difficult and full of high-level enemies. On the other hand, the rewards are awesome.

It is difficult, though I did it easily enough with a maxed out Courier. On the plus side, you can always leave and return to rearm and gather your nerves before venturing into the place once more.
Might I recommend you get the Ultimate Edition? It has all the DLC (including the Courier's Stash collection, which gives you a whole BUNCH of useful items right at the beginning which won't over-encumber you before you get to Novac, which has a safe chest to stash things in).
And might I add... do your research, allocate your points wisely, and you can max out ALL your skills, like I did. Didn't Max out SPECIAL, but all my skills were 100... and I'm considered a paragon. Always play the good character.

Oh god yes. Fixing an Anti-Materiel Rifle with a Varmint Rifle? Sign me up.
It's also very profitable, fixing good weapons with bad weapons for profit.
It's blissful really, knowing you'll rarely be desperate for a weapon repair.
Used to be, you couldn't find the weapon you needed for repair, Β but you were just swimming in lower tier guns of the category. Now, those lower tier guns don't drown you because they're keeping your best guns in working order.

how about fixing Gatling lasers with flamers? logic be damned, make me deadly.
oh hell yeah, of course once you have 200k in caps what to do with them all? ....oh right, Vegas, duh, lose them all at the spinning wheel.
It does really help to keep things on the >90% repaired.... though the sniper rifle being classified as an assault rifle instead of a rifle struck me as weird. little bit harder to find assault rifles, unless the Legion (and I'm assuming NCR) really hates you, gotta love those random assassins and their toys.
indeed

SIERRA-116 In reply to LordDreadSigma [2015-01-30 12:12:16 +0000 UTC]
How about you categorise them under this system: snipers and assault rifles belong in the two-handed, auto/semi-auto category, which is why you can use a 12.7mm SMG to repair those sorts of things since it's technically a two-handed auto weapon, but since an anti-materiel rifle is a bolt action, it is repaired by other bolt-action firearms, such as Varmint Rifles.
As for finding high end gear, The Legion can send all the assassins they want after me.

LordDreadSigma In reply to SIERRA-116 [2015-01-30 14:58:31 +0000 UTC]
huh....that makes a lot of sense. And it also works with the shotguns, since the riot shotgun is also semi-auto, whereas the single shot, caravan, pump and level-action are like the bolt and lever-action rifles. Thanks.Β
haha like lambs to the slaughterΒ

SIERRA-116 In reply to LordDreadSigma [2015-01-30 23:08:30 +0000 UTC]
Well, I think Lever-Actions and pump actions are in a different class, maybe, but riot shotguns are indeed in with Marksman Carbines and Assault Carbines.

Don't read any skill books until you have comprehension though. You get 4 skill points instead of 3.
