Yeah, well Undyne did live outside of the lab as a kid, she was only in there for a short while, so she's used to it and understands what needs to be done/said and that everyone needs to be on the same page

I can see where Undyne is coming from. You can't protect someone forever. Eventually, they will see just how cruel and unfair the world can be and if they aren't prepared for that then it can have very bad consequences.Β

Ah okay, so Undyne reasons that it's because Papyrus it spending too much time around Sans, being in contact with him, and that's why his soul breaks everytime Sans leaves. I assume she wants to try and get Papyrus to become more independent? Is that somewhat the reason behind her wanting to train Papyrus - If she does indeed do that in your version, I recall you said something about it but I can't be bothered going searching for it just to be sure.Β
Ugh seriously, I still adore the way you draw Undyne, she looks so pretty. I really don't talk about Undyne enough, she's a very important character after all, and she's obviously going to have a large part to play in the future. I also assume she hasn't told Sans about what she saw with Papyrus' soul, and not just now, she's probably stayed quiet about what happened when they first found Papyrus, and presumably anything that's happened since.Β

Yeah, Undyne tries to help the bros as much as possible (even considering what happens in the next 2 pages huhuhu) since she's the one that brought em out of the lab, they're her responsibility.
Admittedly, it was accidental, but I'd like to think it fits in with Underfell that no one really talks about anything. Especially if it's something like a weakness like that. Yeah, she never tells Sans about it, so he stays pretty clueless, he has no idea that his brother needs him that much (oh god my feelings just saying that.. hhh). But yeah, she hasn't mentioned any of the weird stuff she's seen or heard, I mean, Sans would be aware of her being able to see SOMETHING (like the void creatures) but he has no idea exactly how much she knows.
... It really does seem like a lot of problems in Underfell could be solved if they talked things out more lol.
