I've never been to Manhattan during a snowstorm - only the Bronx.
I can assure you that a Bronx snowstorm isn't quite as romantic or photogenic.

Wow! I can't imagine this happening to me because I would be so mad!! I hate snow! I feel for you Richard! Have you escaped yet? Great image, crazy how the snow literally can erase a landscape like this.

Yeah, I remember reading the Seattle paper a few years ago when you guys got hit by uncommonly high amounts of snow. People were skidding off the road, getting stuck in snow banks, etc. We see more snow here than the PacNW gets, but people still do outstandingly stupid things on the roads. So generally, I stay indoors after a huge snowstorm!

Yes 1% of americans will die in a car crash in the lives statistically. pretty scary when you then factor in snowy, icy roads. It's wise to stay off the roads!

We actually don't have any snow. We will likely just get a shitty summer!

Well, I wouldn't start counting your winter chickens before they hatch (into springtime).

Haha ! It was so deep last year that you could not have fun in it. If you tried cross country skiing and fell it was good luck getting up.

Yes Marie, we definitely have snow during winter - at least where I live.
And now my car is cleaned off, but I still can't get out because the snow plow truck hasn't come to push away the huge mountain of snow yet.
But thanks, Marie!

At least you got a nifty shot out of the deal. This storm passed well to our south. We have a few inches on the ground in Rochester, but nothing new the past two days.

Yes, I have dealt with shoveling and cabin fever reasonably well so far!
Thanks!

You're always welcome
Shoveling such a huge amount of snow was tiring, wasn't it?

Wow, the blizzard is in the news over here all the time.
You still have some FP3000B? It has gotten quite expensive over here, and all are over their expiry date. I think this was one of the worst discontinuations we have seen in the last years.

Yeah, it's bad, but this morning it was not nearly as bad as I expected.
I've paid some kids to dig out my car! One of the perks of being gainfully employed, and smart enough to keep some cash in the house during a snowstorm!
Well, I bought a small fortune worth of FP 3000B a while ago, and there's one place in the US that still has a lot of it. But I agree, because I LOVE that film!

That looks quite surreal. Keep warm.
Here in FL was 32 degrees last night...I can imagine how bad it is up there, and now I can see it.

It's warmer today, but that means danger from falling icicles!
