Ans,
I kinda got lucky on this one!  But yes, the expressions are what made the image for me.  I was really watching the boy's expression of playful recognition of defeat, and that chess is a lot harder than checkers.   I got lucky with the man's expression and hand gesture.

One needs some luck in life now and then. But you made the picture!
Chess or checkers...it's all about moving pieces, but well played it seems very enjoyable!

Thanks so much, Ans.  One of these days I'll settle down and re-learn how to play chess. When I was a teenager, I played, but i wasn't very good, and I decided that I enjoyed athletics more.
