Description
One of the things I absolutely loved about where i lived in Utah was the Quakies...the sound they made in the wind was great. It always brought a refreshing feeling to a cool summer evening.Related content

Beautiful shot!! I have a huge matted and framed print almost identical to this hanging over my bed....except mine has all the red and orange leaves too - it was taken in the French alps. Great job!!

Believe it or not, I've been planning on getting this one printed out to hang over mine but haven't gotten to it. I miss seeing Aspens but Maples are gorgeous also.
Story behind this shot was some friends spent $2k on a shot just like this from the same area and I decided that I'd take my own and print it to hang over my bed.

Ohhh wow!! Well, great job and smart thinking!! I have a photo in MY gallery of some white birches I shot up in Alaska. It doesn't have the quality of yours, since mine was taken back in the early 90's on regular film. This is it here ---> [link]
Here's the REST of my gallery if you want to take a look: [link]

Amazing shot! my friends have one almost like that but with a ton of reds and oranges. pretty much the same composition only wide angle landscape.
I've looked through your gallery. Washington is on my list of places to photograph.

True. When I lived in Utah, We would go up to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole quite a bit. Unfortunately, it was right when I was getting into photography so I've hardly got photos from those days.

Heard a lot about maples in japan and how I'm supposedly in a highly photogenic part of japan. Hoping to get them this fall. Bad part is that I've only got about a month worth of fall so I'll be out every weekend and as much ad I can during te week to cat the colors.
