A character from my story.

An enigmatic leader of the Dloraspil Empire, who, despite not appearing in the story personally, had pulled enough strings from behind the scene to deserve their own portrait.

Usually referred to as "king" by both dloraspilians and non-dloraspilians alike, despite their position being elective. Perhaps, such word choice may indicate the enormous amount of power they have over the empire, or be a remnant of some old tradition.
