Much like this earlier drawing I made some time ago, it’s meant so demonstrate how these creatures are typically seen by the people in-universe. Fully "civilized" exemplars such as Ashley , Evelyn and whoever that is may be overrepresented in my drawings – but canonically, they are in the severe minority. By the humans who actually live in that world, porcelians are overwhelmingly regarded as little more than pests living in basements or abandoned alleys and stealing food from the garbage dumps.

In the land of Refugium, at least.

In the "Yellow Zone ", where modern industrial civilization had all but collapsed, humans came to be much more willing to accept these beings into society and treat them as (more or less) equals…
