The title itself is self explanatory, so I'll just skip to what led me to choose the LNER P1 as a proper basis for this one-off ghost engine. The LNER P1 pretty much fits everything we know about the Halloween engine, it resembles Gordon, the body has 12 wheels under it, and the engine is fitted with a 6 wheel tender, and even if the basis isn't exactly 1:1 with the model (the P1 being a 2-8-2 and not a 2-10-0 like the model because the model was fitted with Murdoch's chassis and the P1 tender not being a 4200 gallon tender like the model) there really isn't anything else that matches better than the P1
