Description

In this occasion i did try to achieve realism while using the 70-30 rule (details on the 30% important part of the image, in other words, the face which here is the focus)

I really like this photo so i decided to give it a try. I feel like i am improving on the technical part of knowing when to stop adding detail.

Important: When i started this study, i more or less eyeball the proportions, but after i had the sketch, i went back to it, this time using some plumb lines (aka "grid" in certain parts to see if everything matched

plot twist: proportions where kind of close, but could be improved.

And so i re do the sketch using certain guides as references (ie where the edges of the eyes, nostrils, and ears where in line with).
