You can never have too much detail! I think the background is good personally. The girl character is cool but the proportions don't quite work I think though. The head would look better a bit smaller and her hands are too large.

How cool, ^^ what do you color with? And how do you outline....i have never mastered that with photoshop....so my draawigs are,....interesting

In the outline i create by Illustrator. The color i paint it in Photoshop.

I export it to picture and set it to alphachannel to make the outline for paint (get selection from it).

I apologize for a late comment. XD Anyway, I like this piece. The background is really good, and of course very fitting. The details on her shirt is excellent, especially the clothing folds; I can never get clothing folds like that, lol. I like the pants too; it's really cool how you colored it...it seems you added some texture to the pants to make it really look like jeans...that's awesome! ^_^ And OMG, a blue iPod! Wish I can afford one...T_T One thing that I don't like, truthfully, is that I think the head seems a little too big...but that doesn't matter much, anyway, 'cuz overall, it still looks great! ^_^

Indeed I quite not satisfy the background, it should have more different color to make the girl stand out more than this. About her head, I knew that, but it's really hard to change or adjust it. (I have to change both line and color)
