Description Sometimes, when I browse the web, DA or books, I found pictures I really like. Almost always, it influences me a lot, and even sometime, I try to remake certain of the pictures. Even though I think it's a great learning process, I think it sucks to copy someones work that much and I almost never publish those pictures or when I do I feel kinda bad.

Anyway... this picture was influenced by *jesiel 's [link] .
I admire a lot *jesiel and he's amongst my favorites DA photographers.

I'll shall post another work inspired by one of his portrait soon.

Hope you enjoy. And if any of you didn't knew *jesiel go check his gallery.
It's awesome.

Model is Alexandra from Scoop.
And I did this as a school project.
I went to strong with the contrast I know.

Take care.

Thanks! Actually, I'm not sure if it worked well, but it was my first try with dark light. Not bad, but harder than I tought.

Thanks. I did this one a while ago (before summer) and even though I liked it a lot at first, looking at it now I like it a bit less. But it's always recomforting to hear that people like it.

By the way, it was done with the school Mamiya RZ67 . Have you done some prints with your med format?

ohh a RZ67 hmm nice cam !

No, i still wait for my cam... i mixed up my house number (stupid me ) and the guy had to resend the cam....
i can´t wait to try it out, we have beautiful weather in osnabrück, just the right time to do some photographs...
I´ll let you know when i finished my first prints. I think the cam will finally arrive this week but i only have a darkroom at my parents house. So it´s just a a matter of time :/

AH! I hate so much shipping problems. I've started looking for a Mamiya but probably a RB.. though every time I spend money on none-digital equipement, I feel like it's kinda bad and I should buy digital stuff since that the tool I'm gonna use to work later... anyway, I still like film to much

i hate it too, mostly i get very jumpy and tensely when i know i get post, and when it´s something special and its behind the schedule i get mad. Mamiya Cameras are great and i really like the RB 67 - its kind of my dream camera. Currently i like to look for analog stuff. i like making my own prints on good paper. that´s not possible with a digital cam, even if the D70 is a great one.... you know my new cam and i tinkered with the idea to getting a canon eos 30 or a Nikon F80... but then i decided to buy the seagull. thats enought so far, now i should learn to handle the cams i own

Yeah I always think I should get the best from the camera I own before buying new ones!
By the way, a friend of mine found a cool jew who's sellings lots of analog stuff for great prices. If you ever want something else, I could check what he have

Take care.
